Comprehensive preventive care includes far more than cleanings, hygiene instruction and check-ups. During your visit, we perform a thorough assessment of all aspects of your dental health. We check for decay and evaluate your gums for gingivitis and periodontitis. We watch for problems with your bite, including warning signs of clenching, grinding, or TMJ disorders. We will also screen your lips and the soft tissues of your mouth for oral cancer. Most importantly, each doctor spends time one-on-one with each patient, discussing your specific situation and explaining the strategy that will help you obtain the most optimum oral health.

Cosmetic Services
Aging, accidents, undiagnosed gum disease, and daily wear and tear can lead to cracked, broken, discolored, loose, or missing teeth. These problems should be treated by a dentist so that the damage does not continue. We begin our restorative process by gathering as much information as possible about you and your dental health. This is followed by careful consideration of any dental problem prior to the development of an effective, long-term strategy for restoration. Our approach also includes practicing pro-active, conservative dentistry: catching and repairing problems while they're small and choosing materials and methods designed to conserve as much natural tooth structure as possible.
We always aim to provide esthetic, quality care. In fact, we do not feel it is necessary to distinguish so-called “cosmetic” dental procedures. You should feel comfortable knowing that all our services are geared to provide an attractive, comfortable, and functional result.

Periodontal Services
Few diseases are as stealthy and serious as periodontal (gum) disease. It can be relatively painless and asymptomatic at first. Gum inflammation (gingivitis) is an early indicator of a problem. Untreated, this can progress to periodontal disease. This can mean pockets between teeth and gums, loose teeth, bone loss, and eventually tooth loss. Extensive dental work is often necessary to restore oral health. For this reason, we're meticulous in our examinations, looking for even the very earliest signs of periodontal problems. If there are areas of concern, we offer you the latest in in-office therapy techniques. Finally, we will not hesitate to refer you to a periodontist when necessary.

Oral Surgery
Extractions are sometimes necessary to remove badly damaged teeth. We accomplish some extractions in our office. When the situation is more complex, we can provide you with a referral to an oral surgeon for that part of your treatment.
